Wednesday Social

Together with the German Trade Federation (HDE) and the Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services, METRO GROUP organises Wednesdays Socials in Berlin on a quarterly basis, modelled on the Berlin salon culture, to discuss trade issues. These issues are also discussed both prior to the event and also after it on an Internet platform as well as on Twitter.

The Berlin Wednesday Trade Socials were initiated in 2010 with the aim of bringing together people from industry, politics and society. They serve as a platform for sharing different perspectives and learning from each other.

Wednesday Socials traditionally start with a talk by a guest speaker on a subject connected with the world of commerce. The theories propounded in this talk are then discussed with the participants – and are, in fact, even discussed online beforehand.

We cordially invite you to join in with our discussion: on site in Berlin, on the website of the Berlin Wednesday Social at the digital representative office or on Twitter with the hash tag #MGBER.

Videos of all Wednesday Socials to date can be viewed on our Youtube channel.
