Notifications concerning transactions by persons performing directors' responsibilities pursuant to section 15 a of the WpHG

In accordance with section 15 a of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz, WpHG), persons performing directors' responsibilities at METRO AG must notify METRO AG of any of their own trading with METRO AG stock or related financial instruments, in particular derivatives. This obligation also applies to persons having a close relationship with such a person. The obligation to notify does not apply as long as the total value of transactions conducted by a person performing directors' responsibilities and the persons having a close relationship with this person do not exceed an amount of € 5,000 by the end of the calendar year.
