What is quality?cbi:///cms/48615

According to the quality management standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) (www.iso.org), the quality of a product is determined by the degree to which it meets the manufacturer’s requirements and the customer’s expectations. A product is thus of "high quality" if it corresponds with the sense of quality shared by consumers. The standard ISO Norm 8402 defines the term "quality" as follows: cbi:///cms/48616

The quality of a product is judged according to various criteria. These include the outward condition of the goods – referred to as its recognizable quality. In addition, its chemical composition or serviceability is tested – its hidden quality. The METRO GROUP not only tests each product in depth. The company also ensures that all processes of manufacturers and producers function perfectly, in order to rule out shortcomings in advance. cbi:///cms/48668
