Turnover is defined as all employees leaving, i. e., those who retire, die or hand in their notice. The turnover rate is the number of these persons leaving in relation to the average number of employees. In 2010, the method used to report the average number of employees was adjusted. As a result, this figure now includes all permanent employees as well as apprentices and trainees. The figures for 2009 and 2008 have been adjusted accordingly. cbi:///cms/190403
