The Metro-Foundation Sculpture Park is based on the Foundation "Sculpture Park", formerly located "am Seestern". It was established in 1982 by Horten AG. Due to the shifting of Horten’s head office to Düsseldorf-Heerdt (Germany) the foundation was renamed to "Stiftung Skulpturenpark am Albertussee". After closing Horten’s head office METRO GROUP has inherited all authorisations and responsibilities of the former Horten AG concerning establishment and ordinance of the foundation. cbi:///cms/199906
